This page explains how to request permanent deletion of your PeClick account, what data we remove, what we are legally required to retain, and how long retained data is kept. Submitting a deletion request is free of charge.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request permanent deletion of your PeClick account through any of the following methods. We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days, in line with Google Play, Apple App Store, GDPR Article 17 and India's DPDP Act, 2023.

Method 1 — In-App (Recommended)

  1. Open the PeClick Seller app on your phone.
  2. Tap Menu (☰) → Profile Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm with your registered phone OTP. Your account and data will be queued for deletion immediately.

Method 2 — Via Web Dashboard

  1. Sign in at peclick.com/phone-login.
  2. Go to Account → Settings → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm via OTP sent to your registered phone or email.

Method 3 — Email Request

If you cannot access the app, send an email to privacy@peclick.com from the email address linked to your account with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. Include:

  • Your registered phone number (with country code)
  • Your registered email address
  • Your store / subdomain name (e.g. mystore.peclick.com), if applicable

We will verify your identity via OTP, then process the deletion.

What Data We Delete

When your deletion request is processed, the following categories of personal data are permanently removed from our production systems and storefront:

  • Account profile: name, email, phone number, password hash, profile photo, gender, date of birth
  • Storefront content: shop name, logo, banners, products, categories, prices, descriptions, custom theme settings
  • Customer relationship data you uploaded: customer contacts, leads, marketing lists
  • Order history, cart contents, wishlists, reviews you authored
  • Saved addresses, GPS location data, delivery zones
  • Uploaded photos, videos, menu PDFs, business documents (FSSAI, GST certificates, etc.)
  • Push-notification tokens, device identifiers, app preferences
  • Linked third-party connections (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, Facebook, Google Ads, WhatsApp, Shiprocket, Borzo) — tokens are revoked and removed
  • Chat / support conversations associated with your account

What Data We Retain (and Why)

Indian and international law requires us to retain certain limited records even after account deletion. These records are kept only as long as the law requires, then permanently destroyed.

Note: Retained records are isolated and inaccessible from the public storefront and seller dashboard. They are used only to satisfy the legal obligations above and are destroyed at the end of the retention window.

Before You Delete — Please Note

  • Account deletion is permanent. Once processed, your account cannot be restored.
  • Active subscriptions: Any paid plan you currently hold will be cancelled. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused portion unless required by our Refund Policy.
  • Open orders: If you have open customer orders, please fulfil or refund them before requesting deletion. We are unable to fulfil orders on your behalf.
  • Domain & subdomain: Your yourstore.peclick.com subdomain will be released and may become available to other users. Custom domains pointed via CNAME must be removed by you with your domain registrar.
  • Customer data: Customers who purchased from your store retain their own order records under their own PeClick accounts. Their personal data is not deleted along with yours.

PeClick is operated by WebSenor Infotech Pvt. Ltd., a registered Indian private limited company. We are a Payment Aggregator merchant partner of Razorpay and process card / UPI / netbanking payments through Razorpay's secure infrastructure under our PCI-DSS compliant integration.

Pricing & Refunds

Pricing for all PeClick plans is published on our Pricing page. All amounts shown are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST (18%). Our refund eligibility, processing window (typically 7–10 business days back to the original payment instrument) and dispute mechanism are detailed in our Refund Policy.

Your Data Rights

In addition to account deletion, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct — ask us to update inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Port — receive your data in a machine-readable (JSON / CSV) format
  • Object — opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Complain — raise a concern with India's Data Protection Board or your local data protection authority
